I Created a Life 10 Years Ago Today and I Saved a Life Today!!!

Ten years ago today (in about 3 hours to be precise), I created a life. My sweet little girl Sophie was born. SUCH AN EXCITING DAY FOR ME! There were so many complications in my pregnancy and she came out just perfect only 3 days before her due date. Tom was the proudest dad ever and doesn't he look handsome, young and completely relaxed and rested after 18 hours of labor!?! The Girl's Got a Heart After All...

Tonight I have dinner with the old execs from Ingram Micro. This is making me think about my old life. The life before I was a home mom and was really into photography and scrapbooking. Life Is Back To Normal...

It has taken me a week to get back into the swing of things. The first week of school, I just sat on the floor and played legos by myself crying with loneliness (hee hee). But this week, I have started back on my long walks with Mayzie each morning. And life is slowing getting back to normal, whether I wanted it to or not. So, since it was time to update my blog and I have absolutely nothing witty to say today, I will post some layouts from the past. Summer is Drawing to a Close...

Today is the last day of summer break for us. This makes me very sad. But I think it is time. Time for my body to get back in shape! Time for me to pay attention to the house again. Time for me to start cooking meals instead of just eating out. Time for us to go to bed early and get up early. Time for us to stop having fun and lead responsible lives! I treat summer like a two and a half month vacation. I just want to have fun in the sun with my kids and friends every single day.
