Why does everyone hate RATS?
I think it is really unfair! They are furry, cute creatures that look very much like hamsters and we don't hate them! Maybe it is the tails - they do kind of gross me out. Anyway, we have a rat in our garage. I have seen signs of said rat. Then when we were getting our Christmas decorations down from the attic this weekend, guess what I saw. Poor Mayzie!
Mayzie made a new friend today. Or maybe I should say, a male dog wanted to be Mayzie's friend, but she had no interest! When she jumped into Sophie's arms to get away from him, I had to grab the camera. She was horrified at his terrible habits! His owner said he was fixed, but he still evidently likes girls! Could my fur ball be any cuter though? I don't blame him for wanting to ahem....sniff at her... He didn't give up easily. Poor Mayzie ... FINALLY a post from ME!
We just returned from a week vacation in Whistler. My parents lived in Vancouver for three years 20 years ago and I fell in love with the area. Tom and I went to Vancouver for our Honeymoon and Whistler for our first New Years together. After that we started visiting Whistler with the family for Thanksgiving week and it has become our favorite vacation spot. You just never know if you will get snow or not since this is the week they open the slopes. Every year we hope for snow and usually get lucky.
