Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I just love when the clocks turn back and it gets dark early and the weather is all crisp and cool (well, not quite, but soon maybe!). I love all the fun decorations and candy everywhere I look! My girls get so excited about their costumes and my husband is really into carving pumpkins. He always wants to make sure he has the best ones on the street and does different ones each year. My name is Suzy Plantamura. I live in sunny Orange County, California by the beach. I have three kids, one grand baby, and two dogs. I draw watercolor cards and design stamps for Simon Says Stamp. I have a blog series called "one stamp, five ways" that I post to two times a week. I want to motivate and inspire others to use their stamp sets more and learn new techniques. I love designing products and making cards to share with others!

Two New Books
I had a very good mail day on Saturday. Two books arrived that I had contributed to. It was so fun to see the final projects! The first book is by CK and is called The Joy of Scrapbooking. This is a revised updated version of the original Joy of Scrapbooking that came out years ago. It is a great resource for beginners as it covers all the basic principles of scrapbook design. All of the artists that contributed did such a great job showing updated tips and techniques while still keeping their layouts fairly basic.
