I thought it would be fun to show the entire album that is on the February CK Cover, so here it is!
This was my anniversary gift to Tom for nine years last May. I adore the Love, Elsie Betty line - my favorite all time line of hers and it worked so well on this project (it really inspired it). I also LOVE Maya Road - their heart box and book were perfect and I used lots of their products throughout.
Today is my birthday - another year older, another year wiser. So many goals to accomplish this year with one of them being keeping a list of all my friends' birthdays so I can remember them - so please add yours to my comments so I don't forget you this year (like I have for every year in the past!).
Suzy

Thank you girls for the Happy Birthday wishes! We had a busy day going to see 27 Dresses and BucketList and then dinner. Thank you Kristi - that was fun to read!!! But I don't see your birthday or anyone else's listed here - send me an email with it! I need to get all my friends logged this year so I can be better at remembering them. And Lynette - thank you. Slim and sassy might just be my new nick name. I like the sound of that. Slim and Sassy Suzy. Call me that from now on please. slim and sassy suzy

hi there,
i read about your unfortunate hair extension experience. it sounds very disappointing, to say the least. that's not the way things should go at all!
did you have professional guidance at all? some hairdressers specialize in hair extensions and a good salon could have prevented most of what you experienced! we're located in canada so i realize that's not much help, but any credible extension salon will make recommendations about SAFE, COMFORTABLE and DISCREET methods that are suitable to your hair texture & lifestyle & pocketbook that can work well for you. pain & hairloss are the results of neglect & lack of knowledge.
so next time you want to try something like that, not just extensions, but anything that should be professionally handled, like lightening your hair, skin treatments, dieting, piercings, tattoos, etc., just a suggestion ~ do your homework & exercise due diligence! respect your body, respect the service.
someone once quoted "the floor is crooked said the dancer who couldn't dance". don't blame the extensions, blame yourself for not doing proper research & not taking proper care of your natural hair!
i'm sorry if it sounds like i'm giving you a hard time here, but honestly, we've been in the extension business, importing hair for many years, dealing with the salon trade & educating hairdressers in the craft of safe hair extensions. we have seen the best & the worst & we know why things can go wrong. more often than not it's a lack of professional involvement & lack of maintenance on the part of the wearer. this is nearly always the case.
