A Beautiful Bird!!!

I went on a field trip to a marine animal rescue center with my daughter today as I wanted to shoot lots of pictures of the kids with the Sea Lions. Unfortunately they were all in cages, so picture taking was not that easy. Instead I got mesmerized by this beautiful white heron (is that correct) and I couldn't stop photographing him! Isn't he a beauty? All were taken at 100 or 200 ISO, f5.6 and a shutter speed of 1/640 - 1/1600 depending on his movement. CHA Day One Report!

I am home from CHA and after five hours of walking the floor, I have LOTS of blisters!!! Not very smart to wear those high strappy heeled sandals! I know most of my blog readers would prefer to see product, but all I have is people photos today! I will try to get some of my new favorites tomorrow! Some of the products I saw and loved: Cosmo Cricket had some cute new lines; loved the sock monkey line by K&Co; adored the new Love, Elsie lines and the new KI - same type of products from both as last show, but even better; one of the new Basic Grey lines is a bit funkier then usual and totally me;... CHA Tomorrow!

I'm so glad that CHA is so close to home as I don't ever travel since my kids are so young. But a 30 minute drive will NOT keep me home! I hope to see many of you there - please come by and say hi at the Maya Road booth on Monday from 9-12, Tuesday from 9-1 and all day on Wednesday. A Very Good Birthday!

I turned 45 yesterday. I don't like getting old. I don't like birthdays anymore. I wanted to stay 35 forever. Yesterday we went to see two movies - the first was Bucket List which was an excellent film! But I don't recommend it on a day you are concerned about aging. It is about two old men and all the things they try to accomplish before they die of cancer. It made me cry and it made me again NOT want to get old! But other then that, I strongly recommend it! The Entire Album...

I thought it would be fun to show the entire album that is on the February CK Cover, so here it is! This was my anniversary gift to Tom for nine years last May. I adore the Love, Elsie Betty line - my favorite all time line of hers and it worked so well on this project (it really inspired it). I also LOVE Maya Road - their heart box and book were perfect and I used lots of their products throughout. Today is my birthday - another year older, another year wiser.
