I made these pages for a recent Memory Makers book called 601 Scrapbook Ideas (great book by the way!). One is about my Dad and one is about my Mom, so I thought I would share them. They live in Utah and I miss them very much!!! My Dad came out for a week early last year so I could make him an album about his military career (he was a Green Beret, Colonel in the Army and fought in three wars). MAMBI Sneak Peeks!!!

I have designed pages for MAMBI for over four years - in fact they were my introduction to the industry and I just adore the company and their products. They are releasing three new lines at CHA Winter called Modern Milan, Coastal Culture and Renee and they are awesome - the best lines they have ever released!!! I love all three, but I am particularly in LOVE with the Modern Milan line as it matches my house and reminds me of the new Pottery Barn catalog cover and furnishings - very up to date and bright colors. Love, Elsie Published Layouts

What does one post about when one has nothing exciting to say? These two layouts were in CK January - both are Love, Elsie. I made this one about my nephew and his love for Dinosaurs. I took these photos when I was visiting him last summer - he is such a cute little boy with so much personality as you can see! I drew the dinosaur on chipboard, cut it out and decorated it with all Love, Elsie Jack and Abby paper, stickers and ribbons. For this one, I used Love, Elsie Roxie paper and chipboard buttons. I made this mini album using a clear scalloped edge album from freckle friends and lots of a line called Sanctuary by MAMBI (love this line from the last show). A Not So Good Weekend...

We wanted to end our kids Christmas break with a fun weekend away in the mountains. We drove to Big Bear on Friday which is about 2 hours away from us. They were expecting the biggest snow storm in years. We only see snow once a year when we go to Whistler and this year we didn't go, so this was irresistible! After booking an over priced room and putting our doggie in a dog kennel for the first time ever, we drove up Friday morning. New Year Goals

Here I am - sun bathing on the beach yesterday. I figured tan fat looks better then pale fat. Hee hee... We went to La Jolla yesterday to see the seals. They are so cute and I can't imagine how boring their life must be! Then again, sleeping all day, eating whenever they want while not having to care about their girlie figures, skinny dipping in the day light - it does sound like a fairly fun life. Although if I had to only dine on sushi for every meal, I might not enjoy it as much as I do now!
