Each month, the Love, Elsie DT has an assignment for her to post on her blog. This month, we were to make something for a Christmas gift. I ended up doing home decor instead all with the Noel line. I got so into this project - it was really fun!
I started with napkin rings - you can cut a piece of wrapping paper roll, paper towell roll or even toilet paper roll (although wrapping paper is thicker, so it works the best) - then you cover it with the fabric paper and tie a ribbon around it. I made little place cards using embossed paper, a soft charm and a marker to write the name and add some doodles. I bought this Charlie Brown tree at Tall Mouse and decorated the pot with paper and ribbon. I made ornaments with epoxy stickers, chipboard buttons and soft charms, hanging each with LE ribbons. Last, I made the two gingerbread men by tracing a large cookie cutter on chipboard, covering with packing paper and decorating with LE products (these were really fun to make). I went to the TJ Max home store and bought the table runner and placemats/napkins which matched perfectly and were so inexpensive.
Here are some pictures (lots and lots of pictures!):
Ok, finally DONE! Anyone want to come for Christmas Dinner? I promise to let you sit at the table and mess it all up (I won't let my kids though - they've been eating on the floor since I put all this together - haha!). MERRY CHRISTMAS! suzy
Suzy these are really cute! Love the little ornaments w/ the ribbon. And what time would you like us over for dinner ;)
