Sock Monkey Obsession

There seems to be an obsession with sock monkeys lately! I got this one for my hubby to put in his Christmas stocking last year - don't tell Santa! My friend Kristi posted her childhood stock monkeys on her blog yesterday and asked for others to take pictures of theirs too. (click on Kristi on my friends on side bar to see cute monkeys!). Some Love, Elsie Goodness

The design team had an assignment of making some pages with Roxie, Betty and/or Toby for Elsie's blog, so here are mine. This is a Love, Elsie Roxie page I made using weaved ribbons all over the bottom and some of my favorite photos from Miss Sophie's photo shoot: This page is made with the Betty line - one of my favorites! I cut the circles out of different papers and stitched around them over and over very messily (is that a word?). Also tore the backing off the fabric paper so I could use it all frayed. Doggy Blind Date

UPDATE ON THE ACTION - SEE BELOW!!! So on the last thread comments, Lynette mentioned that she would like to see Kristi come visit so her dog T-Bone could do "his thing" on my white couch. Two Days of Legoland

We took the kids to Legoland last week and they had a promotion to get a second day for $1 within 9 days, so of course we had to go back! I don't know if I will ever return again though - burnt out of that little kid land for a while.
