Photo for blog
My name is Suzy Plantamura. I live in sunny Orange County, California by the beach. I have three kids, one grand baby, and two dogs. I draw watercolor cards and design stamps for Simon Says Stamp. I have a blog series called "one stamp, five ways" that I post to two times a week. I want to motivate and inspire others to use their stamp sets more and learn new techniques. I love designing products and making cards to share with others!

What a happy group of projects! They all made me smile! Love the first card with the "messy" painting, it's my fave.

Lovely bundle of cards! You've shown so well what a beautiful variety of cards can be created with the same stamp set - thanks for inspiration!

Hi Suzy! I couldn't comment on this post the first time I saw it as I was pressed for time. You know I adore what you create and these cards are no exception. Your cards are so happy! They always make me smile and feel good. Thank you for that. While I like the messy background card because the colors are so pretty, my eye was more drawn to the other cards/projects. I giggle every time you say you do a no line and then add the lines. But was so happy you were able to resist on the last project. It looks amazing! Your blue color card is beautiful. I like the different shades you used. You do well with your stripes, too. You've really made a great group of cards. Thanks so much for sharing. :)

All of these cards are like a beautiful spring day...bright, cheery and delightful! So many wonderful blooms and the techniques you used to color them are amazing! The coloring with the blending of colors as well as the highlighting and shading on your tag really caught my eye. I love how colorful this entire set is! Sorry to hear that you didn't get to see any wildlife on your trip to Alaska. Isn't that always the way...if you hadn't wanted to see any animals, they probably would have been everywhere...LOL! Hope that you had a safe trip home.

You've inspired me to try the loose watercoloring on your first card. It's my favorite!

Love it when you do flowers! This whole set is so colorful and happy. I always like the random stamping as on card 1. The "messy" painting looks great! (Any way you do it looks great!) The dotted background looks so neat. I do have some stencils and will be trying that. The striped backgrounds are my favorite! But the chevron on the last one is really neat too! I seem to be focused on the backgrounds today! Your painting and coloring are awesome too, as always! Love the tags you make and appreciate seeing those - want to make some because that makes a gift more special. Anxious to see your pictures from Alaska. You are a great photographer too! Thanks for sharing!!
