This is my most favorite issue of Creating Keepsakes E V E R !!! And what makes it so special to ME??? Take a look at the cover and you will see:
Yep, that's my husband and daughter on the cover - wooohoooo! I have made several cover projects for Creating Keepsakes over the years, but they have always used pictures they provided to me. This time, they requested me to provide the photo as well, so I sent them about 20 choices. Tom was lucky to be the one chosen (since I sent 19 of me and one of him - tried not to take that personally - haha). One of my industry goals was to have a family member on the cover of the magazine. Considering this is the last issue I submitted to before my surgery, it was perfect timing to accomplish my last scrapbooking goal before "retirement"!
WOULD YOU LIKE TO WIN A COPY OF THIS ISSUE? Just leave a comment on this post and I'll be drawing TWO WINNERS on Friday and have Creating Keepsakes mail them out to you. OR, if you don't get chosen - you can buy one just to support my incredibly handsome husband. I want to be able to tell him this was their best selling issue EVER because of HIS movie star quality face on the cover!!! (heehee) ((yes, that was for him if he is reading this)). I did actually find this blog one day that said they liked my scrapping, but that they really liked my pages with Tom on them because he looked like a movie star. He printed it out and posted it on his office wall of course!
There is a sneak peek into this issue at this LINK. You can also purchase your own issue here at the Scrap and Paper Shop HERE. And if you visit the Creating Keepsakes blog, you can have another chance to win a free copy.
I hope you are all having a wonderful week. Can you just believe the holiday season is already upon us and we are looking at a Christmas album on the latest cover of CK? This is really scary to me - I'm not ready yet!!!! Suzy
