Yesterday, Kim Watson arrived at my house. She came all the way from Capetown, South Africa for CHA and I am lucky enough to have her staying with me for a few days. We went on a dolphin excursion in Dana Point which I have never done in the 13 years I love here. And after doing it, I have no idea why I hadn't gone sooner. It was so amazing. We saw hundreds of dolphins all jumping and swimming under and around our boat.
There will be many more pics of these beautiful creatures to come, but I am off to take Kim to the mall, the nail salon, a scrapbook store, and a camera store. And then to Balboa for hippo cookies. Yum! Have a great weekend friends! suzy
You're making me homesick. I lived in OC for over 10 years, both during and after college, and funny, I never took a dolphin or whale watching trip either.
At any rate, it's good to be a tourist in your own town. I must remind myself to do that more often.

I have lived in south Orange County for 20 years and have never done a dolphin excursion - the pictures are amazing! If you wouldn't mind sharing where you went I would love to know and take my 11 year old daughter on one (she loves dolphins!) Have fun with Kim at CHA.
